BBQ Nation πŸ—

Super exciting news, BBQ Nation is here in Malaysia, in Pavillion Mall! Those who studied in India will know what I’m talkin about haha. I just discovered this after one of my friends went there and posted it on Instagram, so thanks Hirosha if you’re reading this πŸ™πŸΌ❤️😘

When we were studying in Chennai, India, Sharviind and I used to go there for special occasions, and we loved the food there! Here are some pictures from January 2012 πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

We miss all the food and good times in India, and we constantly talk about going back just to re-love  those days and moments ❤️πŸ’•
So finding out one of our favourite restaurants had opened a branch in πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ is the best news!

Those who don’t know about BBQ Nation, they usually serve a set buffet of lunch and dinner. We went for the lunch set. They’re famous for their BBQ style grill, catering for both Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians 🀩

The starters are served first, with the BBQ Style grill, while they prepare all the main course and dessert dishes. There was so much food available and we were spoilt for choices. Other options for starters included breads, buns and soups.

We took one Vegetarian set and one Non-Veg set so that we can try all the options. The starters for both were so yummy πŸ˜‹ . Lahsooni Chicken tikka was spiced well, and one of my favourites. We ate lots of Pesto Prawns as well.

The Cajun Spiced Potato πŸ₯” was exactly how I remembered it! 🀩
Crispy corn was something new as we usually have corn in the cup with butter and salt, but this was pieces of corn fried with spices, something like a snack to munch on. I also loved the honey grilled pineapple 🍍, so juicy! The sweet and sour grilled tofu was actually paneer! I ate all this with the dipping sauces, loved those as well, especially the mango sauce cause it adds some sweetness to all the dishes and also the bbq sauce. The minty sauce was pretty good too. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

They had a small station for all the Chaat items.
We shared a plate of Pani Puri and Dahi Puri. Both of it was good, reminded us of the good ol’ days of our Chaat dates in Chennai😍

As you can imagine we had a lot of starters and both of us were pretty full when it was time for main courses πŸ˜‚
We shared a plate of main course with Schezuan Chicken, Chicken Briyani and Mutton Vindaloo. All the dishes were delicious, mutton was also tender and meaty. The only complaint was that all the food wasn’t served at the same time, some dishes weren’t available when we went to take the main course items, as they were still preparing it. We were too stuffed to try the other dishes as they were served only later on.
Schezwan Chicken

Pappadom

Chicken Briyani

Time for desserts! We had mango flavoured kulfi ice cream! Omg so so good 😍😍😍😍
Their cakes were okay okay. There were quite a number of things we didn’t try, so a second visit perhaps? πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ

Sprinklessssss 🌸

All in all, we loved the food! Very filling, and lots of choices. It’s definitely value for the price we paid. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves a good barbecue meal.⭐️⭐️

  1. This will be my next destination of food hunting. Nowadays I do not want to pollute my kitchen with odour after cooking as much as possible after I have my odour removal services. Thanks so much for sharing.
