Dr.Eslee Korean SkinCare

Recently I was kindly sent some samples from Dr. Eslee Korean Skin Care brand to try out.
I have been using these products for about 3 weeks now.

A little background regarding Dr.Eslee Skin Care, originates from Korea, founded by Prof Dr. Sung Nack in the year 2000.
Dr.Eslee products are a clinic speciality dermatological cosmetics product.
It is currrently sold in over 650 dermatological clinics in Korea ๐Ÿ™€

Their range of products caters to different skin types and safe for home usage as well!
These products doesn’t contain Paraben, SLS/SLES, talc and SD Alcohol.
Mostly natural ingredients are used like plant based products.

Here are some of my favourites:

Dr.Eslee Anti-Sebum after Skin AC Lotion

I love this product cause it contains a toner, moisturiser and whitening essence all in one and helps reduce hyperpigmentation.

Dr.Eslee Hydra Emulsion

Another type of moisturising lotion with Vitamim E for that that extra hydration. Also good for anti oxidant and anti aging to maintain youthfulness.

Dr.Eslee Enriched Water Gel

Used to prevent dry skin and maintain hydration. It’s suitable for all skin types!

Dr.Eslee Anti Sebum Wash Foam

This is a cream foam cleanser which is SLS/SLES free to prevent skin irritation.

Dr.Eslee Physical SPF 50+ PA +++

Another favourite, as sunscreen is a very important skincare that a lot of us tend to miss, and this provides a nongreasy matte skin look!

Dr.Eslee Enzyme Based Cleansing Powder

This is a powder form cleanser, good for removing any residual make up and exfoliating our skin.

Overall I have had a good experience with Dr.Eslee SkinCare.

Do follow them on their social media pages to know more about their products and where to purchase them! Thanks for reading!

Budimas Charitable Foundation presents ‘Night of a Thousand Blessings 2019’ at DoubleTree by Hilton

I was invited to the Budimas Charitable Foundation’s 4th ‘Night of a Thousand Blessings’ a few weeks back, which was held in The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
It was an extravagant night, and served a good purpose of raising funds for the children of this foundation.

For those of you who are not aware, Budimas Charity is a non- government, non-profit organisation and has been providing guidance and funds in support of the welfare and well being of orphans and underprivileged children in Malaysia for over two decades.

In 2018 alone, they have managed to fund for over
8,000 children via their three core programs; Budimas Home Charity Fund, Budimas Food Charity Fund and Budimas Education Charity Fund.
Their goals for this year is to reach out to another 4,000 underprivileged children that needs help.

The opening speech was done by the Chairman of Budimas Charitable Foundation, Y.M Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra.

There were many amazing performances by the children of this foundation. It was mind blowing!

And the paintings done by these children for the auction was just unbelievable! Below is just some of it.

This years event managed to raise a total amount of RM310,000 and it will be used for the Budimas Education Charity Fund(BECF). Through this program, Budimas will be building libraries for children in rural Orang Asli villages. Currently there are 8 libraries already established in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan in 8 different Orang Asli villages benefiting and providing for over a 1,000 children.

Thanks Budimas Charitable Foundation for hosting this event for this wonderful cause.

In this modern era, social media and technology has taken over a big part of our lives and we tend to do everything online, via emails and text messages!

Aveniss De Beaute Taipan

I think we all agreed that Malaysia has been very very hot lately!
My skin has been feeling very dry due to the weather.... so I decided to give some love to my skin and go to Aveniss de Beaute for a facial treatment.

I was attended by the very lovely Miss Christine, who did a consultation regarding my skin type and what kind of facial products and treatments is suitable for me.
I was introduced to the Olos Skincare range, originating from Italy.

My facial was done with the Olos Hydrasense Professional treatment for moisture purpose. The treatment was for an hour, and my skin was glowing  and feels so moisturised!

I would definitely recommend their service and treatments.
They do have many branches so you can pick the one closest to you!

Jason Mraz Good Vibes Tour KL

Jason Mraz Brings Good Vibes to Kuala Lumpur in May 2019

Multiple GRAMMY® Award winner JASON MRAZ will be bringing his Good Vibes Tour to Malaysia, on 13 May (Monday), 8.30pm at Axiata Arena.

In 2002, Jason Mraz shot to fame with his debut album Waiting For My Rocket To Come and since then Jason Mraz has amassed a diverse fan-base around the globe, bringing his positive message and folk-pop sound to rapt audiences through his vibrant recordings, humorous live performances, and philanthropic efforts.

Jason Mraz has earned numerous platinum and awards for his various releases, made pop history with his record-breaking singles, “I’m Yours” and “I Won’t Give Up”, won two Grammy Awards, received the prestigious Songwriter Hall of Fame Hal David Award, and sold out amphitheatres and arenas across the globe (including sell-outs at The Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden, and London’s O2 Arena).

Jason Mraz first performed in Malaysia in 2009, followed by Tour Is A Four Letter Word in 2012. On playing for his Asian fans, Jason says: “I enjoy travelling to and performing for listeners in Asia. I feel a sense of gratitude and enthusiasm unlike anywhere else in the world, which makes a performance feel more like an event than a recital. The audience participation in Asia is harmonic and supersonic. I am thrilled to return, reconnect and re-experience the joy.”
The Good Vibes Tour announcement follows the release of Jason’s sixth studio album KNOW. on August 10th 2018, becoming his fifth consecutive studio album to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Know. was produced by Andrew Wells, who brings an organic and groovy feel to the album’s classic, acoustic rock sound. “I see it as a sonic evolution from my last album, YES! ”Mraz says. “It’s just got a bit more caffeine, whereas my last album was a bit more herbal tea.” Know. reteams Mraz with his longtime collaborators, Raining Jane. “We thought it’d be fun to make ‘No’ as the follow -up to YES!, but instead of ‘N-O,’ the negative, it’d be the positive, ‘K-N-O-W.’”
Are you ready for Jason Mraz?

North Indian and Mexican fusion at Nicks’s Restaurant & Bar

Last Saturday we were invited to try out some delicious North Indian and Mexican cuisine at Nick’s Restaurant and Bar.
This restaurant is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, in Holiday Inn Express KLCC.
I was excited to try out the menu as it was curated specially by bringing tradition and culture together.

At the entrance, we are greeted with a friendly mannequin dressed in Indian attire ๐Ÿคฉ

The restaurant is divided into two parts, a restaurant and bar area, and a newly renovated lounge area! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

The ambience and lighting is very warm and welcoming, and they have some beautiful wall art. My favourite corner will have to be the giant elephant wall art! So beautiful!

Our meal started with some Mango Lassi and Chill Mix(house special).

We had Grilled Mexican prawns ๐Ÿฆ for starters , recommended by the chef, which comes with barbecue sauce.

I would recommend this for all spice lovers, as it was spicy and juicy and flavourful! Mayyy be too spicy for some people like my boyfriend hehe ๐Ÿ˜œ

We also had Spicy Chicken Wings, you have the option if you want it fried or grilled, which is very thoughtful of them for those who are health conscious ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
It was also very juicy and flavourful ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Our mains started with some Prawn Briyani and Palak Paneer gravy.
The Briyani comes with gravy and raita (Indian version of a cucumber salad).
Palak Paneer had big chunks of Paneer! ๐Ÿค—

For our Mexican main course, Sharviind chose to try some Mutton Enchiladas. It’s not often that we see mutton enchiladas on a menu, so he decided to go for it!
Enchiladas was very cheesy, and the mutton taste was quite strong. I couldn’t each much of it as I’m not a big fan of mutton (unless it’s my grandmother’s cooking!), but I did love the Mexican rice that came with it๐Ÿ˜ฌ Sharviind loved the enchiladas tho!

We decided to end our meal with some Pista Kulfi ice cream! Bear in mind that we were both super full as they’re generous with the portions as well!

Overall, the staffs were very polite, and   tended to us very professionally and pleasantly ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคฉ

This is a good place if you and your partner have different types of food in mind and you can both satisfy your cravings together๐Ÿ˜‹
